Minneapolis Church Shooting: FBI Probes Deadly Attack as Hate Crime

Minneapolis Tragedy: FBI says attack on Annunciation Catholic Church was a hate crime and act of domestic terrorism.

A shooter opened fire during morning Mass, killing two children aged 8 and 10. Seventeen others, mostly kids, were injured.

Police identified the suspect as 23-year-old Robin Westman, who fired through church windows with multiple firearms.

Among the 17 injured were 14 children between 6 and 15 years old, along with three elderly parishioners in their 80s.

Despite serious injuries, all 17 survivors are expected to recover, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara confirmed.

Authorities say Westman used a rifle, shotgun, and pistol—all legally purchased—before taking his own life.

Investigators found a disturbing manifesto linked to the suspect, posted online just before the deadly church attack.

Police and FBI are treating the shooting as a targeted hate crime against Catholics and an act of domestic terrorism.
